Setting Up and Managing Partner Connections

Partner Collaboration is an optional feature that lets your organization work securely with trusted partner organizations for staffing, hiring, and role matching. You stay in control of which profiles and job roles each partner can see.

Before you begin

  • Only a Super Admin can turn Partner Collaboration on or off. If you cannot change these settings, contact your Super Admin.
  • To connect with a partner, you need the partner's Organization Code. They can find it in Settings > My Organization > Organization Info by selecting the eye icon.

Turn on Partner Collaboration

  1. Select the menu icon (three lines), then Settings > My Organization.
  2. Select the Partners tab.
  3. Turn on Partner Collaboration.

When Partner Collaboration is on, the Talent Solutions menu, which contains Hiring, appears for everyone in your organization. See Finding and Shortlisting Candidates with Hiring.

Add a partner

  1. In the Partner Directory, select Add Partner.
  2. Enter the partner's Partner Organization Code.
  3. Choose what you want to be able to share: Share Profiles, Share Job Roles, or both.
  4. Select Send Invite.

The partner's Super Admin receives an email about your invitation. The next time they sign in to MayaMaya, a window lets them accept, decline, or review later. When they accept, the connection appears in the Partner Directory with the status Active.

Invitations expire: Each partner invitation expires after 14 days. If it expires before the partner responds, send a new invitation.

Review your partners

The Partner Directory lists each partner organization with its code, the partner's Super Admin, the data you share (Shared Data), the data they share with you (Shared by partner), the last update, and the connection status. Use the search and filter icons to find a partner.

Manage what you share with a partner

  1. Select Manage on the partner's row.
  2. Under Sharing capabilities, turn each option on or off:
    1. Share Profiles – allow selected profiles to be shared.
    2. Protect Profile Identity – show the partner protected profile IDs instead of names and email addresses.
    3. Share Job Roles – allow selected job roles to be shared.
    4. Share Department – include department labels with shared job roles.
  3. Review the Profiles and Job Roles tabs to see what is currently shared. To stop sharing items, select them and choose Remove from the bulk actions.
  4. Select Save Changes.

Manage Sharing for a partner

Partners can see skill-level details for shared profiles, but not the person's current role. To choose which profiles and job roles to share, see Sharing Profiles and Job Roles with Partners.

Remove a partner connection

  • Select the Remove connection icon on the partner's row, or
  • Select several partners and choose Remove Connection from Select bulk action.
