Finding Internal Mobility Opportunities

Internal Mobility matches people in your organization with your job roles, so you can spot good internal moves before hiring externally. You can see why each match was made and recommend a move.

Before you begin

Matches are based on the job roles in your organization. Make sure your job roles are set up. See Creating and Managing Job Roles.

Open Internal Mobility

Go to Growth > Internal Mobility, or select View Details on the Mobility Opportunities card on the dashboard.

Review matches

Each card shows the person's current role and department, the number of matching roles, and their Top Opportunities, each with a match percentage.

  • Select Why this match? under a role to see an explanation of the match, including any gaps.
  • Select View All Matches to see every role that matches the person.

Select the filter icon to filter by Current Department or Suggested Department.

Recommend an internal move

  1. Next to the role, select Recommend.
  2. Choose the primary reason for the move:
    1. Soft Skills Development – the person shows strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
    2. Technical/Job Skills – the person has the technical expertise and job-specific skills for the role.
  3. Optionally, add comments about why this move would be beneficial.
  4. Select Submit Recommendation.
