Completing the MayaMaya Assessment

This guide explains how to answer the MayaMaya quiz, how your progress is saved, and when your reports are generated.

How the assessment works

  • The assessments are adaptive: the questions you see depend on your earlier answers.
  • Each question describes a workplace situation and gives you several possible responses.
  • You rank the responses in the order you would choose them.
  • Every 27 questions you complete generates a new report. You can keep answering after your first report to refine your results.

Start or continue the quiz

  1. In the Assessment, select the Quiz tab.
  2. Select TAKE THE QUIZ. The question number appears at the top of each question.

Answer a question

  1. Read the question and the situation described below it.
  2. Select the responses in your order of preference. The first response you select becomes number 1, the next becomes number 2, and so on.
  3. To change your order, select Reset and start again.
  4. When every position is filled, select Done to submit your answer and move to the next question.

Ranking the responses to a question

As you answer, MayaMaya shows progress updates so you can see how far you are from your next report.

Leaving and coming back

Each answer is saved when you select Done. If you close the quiz, you can continue later: select TAKE THE QUIZ again and pick up where you left off. The Questions counter in the header shows how many questions you have answered in total.

What happens after 27 questions

  • First time: MayaMaya saves your soft skills profile and takes you to the Skills tab to build your Skills Profile. When your profile is complete, your first report is ready in the Reports tab.
  • After your first report: every additional 27 questions generates a new report. Use What Changed? in the Reports tab to see how your results have moved.
Invited by an organization? If you joined MayaMaya through an organization's invitation link, that organization can see your progress and results in its Business Console.
