You can give TIA extra context by uploading files, such as resumes, job descriptions, or performance data. Files can be saved for reuse in any chat, or used only in the current chat.
Permanent and temporary uploads
- Permanent uploads are saved to Your Files, organized by file type, so you can add them to any TIA chat at any time. Each file type has its own limits.
Permanent file upload
- Temporary uploads are added from the message box and stay only in that chat. They are not saved to Your Files.
Temporary file upload
Upload files permanently
- In TIA, select Upload Files in the Files & Settings panel on the right.
- In Select File Type, choose the category that matches your files.
- In the upload window, select the upload area or drag your files into it, then select Upload Files. The files appear under Your Files.
You can delete saved files from Your Files at any time.
File types and limits
Each file type has its own limits for the number of files, file size, and format. Smaller, structured, text-readable files work best with TIA.
- Resume – up to 25 files, 2 MB each (about 1–5 pages); PDF, DOCX, or CSV. For candidate screening, role matching, comparisons, and profile-based recommendations.
- Job Description – up to 8 files, 3 MB each (under 10 pages); PDF, DOCX, or TXT. For role responsibilities, qualifications, skills, and hiring criteria.
- Training Course – up to 3 files, 12 MB each; XLSX, CSV, PDF, DOCX, or TXT. For learning recommendations. Include title, description, instructor, rating, number of reviews, total length, level, URL, tags, and whether the course is free or paid, and split large course lists by category, provider, skill area, or learning path.
- Performance Data – up to 5 files, 8 MB each; XLSX, CSV, or PDF. For reviews, goals, KPIs, ratings, manager feedback, and productivity data.
- Assessment – up to 15 files, 5 MB each; PDF, XLSX, CSV, or DOCX. For external skills tests, behavioral or psychometric reports, and scoring summaries.
- Organization Data – up to 3 files, 10 MB each; XLSX, CSV, PDF, or DOCX. For org charts, departments, job families, competency models, and reporting structures. Split large datasets by department, role family, or category.
- Other – up to 3 files, 5 MB each; PDF, DOCX, TXT, XLSX, or CSV. For policies, interview notes, guides, research, and other reference material.
